We went to Spaulding together, Plymouth State and were in the insurance business together. Wonderful man and he will be missed. So sorry for your loss.

Cheryl, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember David as one of the few older brothers who would tolerate giggling girls. I am thinking of you and wish I could be with you to give you a hug. God Bless you and your family.

Becky, Sue, and I are thinking of you all, our prayers are with you. I worked very close with one of the finest police officers Rochester ever had David Dad. They were a wonderful family and their Dad would tell me all about them and the entire family activities.

Enjoyed knowing Dave from his 1970 pledge class having been in the previous one. Was very proud to have him as a fraternity brother. It seems he had a life lived well. He will be missed. Becky and family, I am sorry for your loss.

Our family shared the neighborhood on Ten Rod Rd. with the Anctils for many years and watched David , Jim and Cheryl grow up and succeed . David had his Dad's smile and personality which I experienced at Seabrook where Tony and I worked the main security gate together . David had those friendly people qualities which were invaluable in his occupation choices , and I was one of his clients . Too young , too soon for a fine gentleman . I have known Dave for over 30 years. He was a very positive and giving person that unselfishly worked to improve the community of Rochester and leave it a better place. He was a genuinely good man that will be missed by family and friends. God bless you Dave!

To the Anctil family sorry for your loss but at least Daves pain and suffering has ended.

I was a young coach and I would wrestle Dave before sprints.

Very sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I remember him as a one of the nicest teammates on the 1969 Shrine team, and as a tough, and very good football player, but a better person. Rest in peace, Dave.

I am so shocked and saddened that Dave left us so soon. I first met Dave as he recruited me to join the Rochester Arena Commission in its infancy. We had many meetings and spirited discussions in the effort to bring the Arena to its special place in Rochester for everyone to enjoy. Dave was the long term Chairman and driving force and never quit until the day he could no longer lead the charge. Just last summer, he gave me a personal tour of all the improvements made to the facility and we sat reminiscing like we did in the old days. I will dearly miss him.

Very saddened to read Dave's obituary this morning. I first met Dave and Becky while coaching their son Danny in Little League. Dave was so proud of the recent improvements he helped orchestrate at the Rochester Ice Arena. Jean Anne and I extend our deepest condolences and Prayers to Becky, family and friends. Dave was a wonderful, caring man and neighbor.
