David Rafael Araujo was born Nov 3 , 1964 in Queens , NY . He passed away Sept 10 after a long illness in Omaha , Nebraska. He is preceded in death by his Father Albert. He is survived by his Mom Joan , his siblings , sister Rennie, twin sister Barbara and brother Daniel. He has five grown children , Natasha, Tyler, Zachary, Dylan and Natalie . He graduated from Parkville High in KCMO in 1982 and was on the soccer team and in the rifle club. David was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. After High School, he was a computer programmer with the Marine Corps and took a hiatus to serve a mission in the Portland , Oregon District . After his mission he joined the USAF . He served in Germany , Alaska , Colorado ( Cheyanne Mountain) and eventually raised his family near Omaha working as a Military Space Administrator. He retired from the Air Force in 2006 as a NCO Master Sargent . He then worked with a company called SAIC at Strategic Air Command headquarters doing planning and operations .

He recently travelled to be with his Mom and twin sister after a long illness . David will be remembered for his love of family , pets , adventure and his ability to " tinker" . He loved to fish and ride motorcycles . He made a great effort to be with some of those he loved before he passed away . Rest In Love David ,till we meet again .

So sorry for your family´s loss. I remember playing soccer with David and what a wonderful human he was to everyone. Prayers for your peace and comfort. He will be missed by all.
