David Belyski Obituary

David J. Belyski, 60, of Town & Country Estates, Troy, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. David was born Sept. 13, 1951 in Glen Cove, Long Island son of the late Joseph and Doris (Shute) Belyski.

He was a graduate of the local schools systems there. He currently was employed as the body shop manager at Juniors Auto Body in Troy, where he worked along side his son, Junior. He enjoyed classic cars, car racing and was a NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed the companionship of his canine friend, Star Dust.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, "Junior" David and Tess Leitner of Troy; a daughter Karen Leitner of Blair, Wisc.; six grandchildren, Christopher, Patricia, Brooke, Taylor, Kylie and Allison; a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Philip Riccardo of Glenwood Landing, N.Y.; nephews and nieces, Anthony, Michael, Nicholas, Lisa and Christina; and many friends.

David was predeceased by his parents and a sister and brother-in-law, Josephine and Guy Pedone.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Gerald W. Vickery Funeral Home Inc., 1093 West Main St., Troy. A memorial service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 8 p.m. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Long Island.
