David was a gifted videographer and my husband and I were so looking forward to seeing the doc on Jaws! Dave stayed at our home in MV for some of the filming. He was a talented, lovely man. Our sincere condolences. Kelly and Michael

David was a most inventive friend and creative. We met through Ralph Jaccodine and I quickly jumped at the opportunity to work with him. I hired him and his video team to shoot and produce videos for a client. It was a joy to work with someone so professional, and with a super keen eye. He not only made the engagement run smoothly, but he made it fun too. We remained in contact since. Ralph and I last met up with David on the Vineyard, a place that we would chat endlessly about, and where his greatest passion project was born. We would get together to hear about the progress of Jaws and also, updates on his kids and partner. He carried such great pride. David is dearly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of David´s death and immediately was thrown back to many memories of roaming the Vineyard, Boston, and many car and ferry rides in between those long ago days. Long years out of touch, and then watching his joy as a father at many seders and parties in later years. He so adored Adam and Shai, as was apparent to all who saw them together. They are on my mind and I hope that the tremendous and large web that David wove can bring them some peace. And the knowledge that they were and are so fiercely and unconditionally loved.

I first met Dave in 1985, when we were roaming the streets with our respective friend groups in the wake of Hurricane Gloria. That was the beginning of a life-long friendship that waned for a number of years in our 30s and was rekindled when I moved back to Boston. He was one of the most resilient, positive, and loyal people I've ever known - the world is a darker place in his absence. I hear your voice every day, Dave, and love and miss you terribly.

Dave, Lance and I were together, poking under the tarps covering the three mechanical sharks used for Jaws, on the State Pier in Oak Bluffs. Those were great days, to be young on the Vineyard. I have so many fond memories growing up together, Lance, Dave, Holly, myself, Dem trying to keep up. We tried to stay in touch, all through school years, and we watched each other come into adulthood and have our own families. We had a way of running into each other, for absolutely no good reason, and that was great. Hanghing in Boston, in New York, on the Island. The man would not shut up about Star Wars nor Jaws, for the cinemagraphics, of course, the How's and Why's of it more than the storylines themselves. The only thing he really did want to talk more about was his kids. Oh, Dave, I wish we could've grown old together, my boy. I will miss you. Say hi to Lance and Holly for me. Be at peace, cousin. I love you.

I worked with David at Frontline. He was always a kind face in a sometimes harried business. I loved that he was pursuing his passion for Jaws with The Making of the Monster. I hope someone finishes it in his name. Although we weren´t close friends his sudden passing leaves a hole. Rest in Peace, David. My condolences to his family and friends.
