I grew up with Dave in Sunday School,and I knew him as a good and kind man, so friendly. I pray Dave's family will feel held in God's peace, comfort,and strength.

I can't tell you how excited I was to meet the Bixby patriarch years ago. Dana being one of my favorite humans, I knew that her parents had to be some damn fine folks. . . Well, I wasn't disappointed. Dave and Nancy were the kindest, most real type of people that grace this earth. The type of people too good for this plain of reality. The pain of this man passing will be long, but the amount of joy he offered to the world will endure beyond. Every silver lining has a touch of grey, and I'm sorry that this had to happen so suddenly. Hang in there, Bixby family -- together you can see each other through this dark time.

So sorry to hear of David's passing. Spent many days playing together with David and Tommy in our youth. The go carts were so much fun. My condolences to the family.

Dear Bixby family, so sorry for the news about Dave. Dave and his dad first got me involved installing motors in mini bikes and go carts at a young age. Sold me my first clutch. As kids Dave was a tuff and forward guy. Him and his brother Tom were well known in Wells as we grew up together. Wishing the best to you all. Tom Kubu.

Dave was a wonderful man, who will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
