David Vernon Bubbus

David Vernon Bubbus, 56, of Russellville, died Saturday, November 5, 2016, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. He was born June 11, 1960 in Pine Bluff. He was the youngest of six children born to Jimmie and Margie Prine Bubbus. He was a member of Matthews Memorial Baptist Church in Pine Bluff, National Rifle Association and the Bubbus Hunting Club & Madar Hunting Club. David worked many years in the off shore oil drilling industry as a Qualified Drilling & Completion Fluids Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents, oldest brother, Clifford Gus Bubbus and his niece Ellie Harris. Survivors include two brothers, Paul and Larry Bubbus both of Russellville; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Gail and Billy Spadoni of Bryant and Teresa and Leo Harris of Russellville. Service arrangements are private with Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville. Gail Spadoni will host a gathering in her home to celebrate David's life.
