Our condolences to the Cagney family. So many great memories of Dave, such a great friend to our entire family. His house was always open to everyone and he always had food and drinks for everyone, no matter who showed up, he just loved people and he was certainly the life of the party! From our SP barracks days, the birth of his children, watching them grow and how proud he was of their later accomplishments. Precious, precious. Dave was a great guy and a dear friend. We had so many good times together, especially when travelling with the Bayberry Group. The stories just go on and on. My pop pop had the heart of a warrior and I was never lonely knowing he was in the house. I miss him already.

I remember Dave from high school. He was a year ahead of me and played football with my brother, Hank Gilmore. Dave was just the nicest guy, smart, funny, just an all round good guy. It was my pleasure to know him. My condolences to his family.

Condolences to Dave's loving family. Dave and I have been friends since our service at the Tuckerton Station in 1965. With my family, we spent many wonderful fun fulled days "down the shore" and later at fun-filled parties with Dave, Elsa and lots of state police friends. Dave was a fearless and loyal member of the state police and indeed a fun guy to work with. I will miss you old buddy. Rest in peace until we all party again in heaven.
