Born in Johnstown, Pa., he had lived in Tall madge since 1954. Dave was a retired sergeant from the Tallmadge Police Depart ment. He served many years as the Colonel of the auxilia ry. Dave loved hunting, fishing, and cutting out wood crafts for his wife.

He is sur vived by his wife, Ethel; daughters, Margo Tennant, Shelia (Mike) Cambern, Denise (Mickey) McCoy; sons, David Jr. and Brian; grandchildren, Anita Cambern, James Davidian, Matthew and Michelle Tennant, Christine Grose, and Dev on Christ; sisters and brothers, Darlene (Sid) Symons, Charlotte (Steve) Lain, Kathy (Kevin) Kane, and Don (Kathryn) Christ; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

God saw you getting tired,

And a cure was not to be.

So He put His arms around you,

And whispered

"Come home with me."

With tearful eyes we

watched you suffer,

And saw you fade away.

Although we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

A determined spirit was at rest.

God broke our hearts

to prove to us,

HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
