The Coburn Family
Mrs. Sherri Schwab
Mr. Bud aka Robert Coburn and Edith Coburn

Just a note to extend condolences and thoughts on your loss of David. Sorry I am 2 years late. I was looking up Randolph students that are no longer with us. Edith, if I recall your maiden name is Saklowe or Soklow. i tried on the spelling! Bud, I remember your Dad. Richard. was a Selectman or School Board Member. I must admit my short-term memory is gone, but I nail the old stuff. My patient wife, Ellen says I am a walking encyclopedia, when she's not yelling or nudging me. My memory deal is from getting older from age or from a rough car wreck in 2004 with resulting head injuries. Elllen says guys get older and girls get younger. I'm okay but be careful. You don't want to put your families through that stuff.
Enough about me. Give David a salute on my behalf and let him know he did a great job in 'Nam' and we were pulling for him and appreciate his service big-time!
Here are my thoughts on losing someone close to us. When we are having a rough day recalling that we lost a loved one, David is looking down on us and saying not to worry about him and take good care and protect our families. If we don't do this no else will.
From my experience, this will help but not take away our sadness. Well you have endured my "shpiel". Edith, I suppose you know that one. Hope I wasn't too long.
Please take good care and if you and your families are ever passing through Atlanta, we have a big home and there's plenty of room for all. Ellen and I have an agreement not to have guests pay rent, but she may try and get you to pay a cover charge! Ellen and I are born comedians and you will be laughing the whole time.

Please take good care and good holidays.
