David Cotton Obituary
David Webster Cotton, 84, of New Cumberland died Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Harrisburg Hospital.
An Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired artist having worked for L.M. Berry, DuPont, and Artworks. He received his BA in English with a Minor in Art from Lebanon Valley College. He was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg and West Shore Tennis Club.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Drury Cotton; a son, Matthew D. (Stacy) of Raleigh, NC; daughter, Courtney C. Holland (Greg) of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren, Halie, Neera, Presley, and Tate.
A memorial service with Holy Eucharist will be held at 10am Saturday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral, Harrisburg. Interment will follow in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Upper Allen Twp.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Friday at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Stephen's Episcopal Cathedral, 221 North Front Street, Harrisburg PA 17101.

I will always remember Dave "Mr. Cotton" with a smile and never forget sleepovers when he would not just kill the spider but for our eyes EAT the eight legged critter! So sorry to hear of Dave's passing. I always enjoyed working with him and listening to his anecdotes on life. Always looked forward to our summer get together, he will be missed.
