I will always miss Dave Crandall walking through the hallways at the hospital, asking everyone how they are, taking the time to listen to the staff and patients alike . They are fond memories of a different time . His presence will always be missed! I´ll always be grateful that I knew him.

I work at HSC. I am honored to have known David. No matter what my role at the hospital, he made me feel important. He made sure everyone mattered and made a difference. I will always remember him. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I´ll always remember David walking thru the units, saying hi to most of us by name! He would even stop to chit- chat a few minutes! Truly nice man. My prayers and thoughts to his family.

We were so saddened to learn of David´s passing. Dave was such a dynamic, unforgettable person. His leadership at HSC did so much for the hospital. Because of David´s confidence in me I was able to succeed beyond expectations. David never forgot his roots in New Britain or that HSC is located in New Britain. He did a great deal for the community and the people he worked with at HSC.
We will never forget David. Our sincere condolences to Sharon and the entire Crandall family. May the many wonderful memories comfort you in this time of deep sorrow.
Sincerely,
Don and Gret Cyr

David coming to our house on Bingham st to take Sharon out . I was about 15 yrs old and I thought he was really cute ! A few years later he became the cutest and best brother in law you could ask for .

Without David's help, my mother's dream of "putting kids on horses" would not have become reality. He was instrumental in having HFSC take over Manes & Motions Therapeutic Riding Center. His support of the program will never be forgotten.

Inviting me to share Valentine's dinner when I had nowhere else to go.....his Easter egg hunts (that I adopted, but much more cheaply).....vacation in Tortola and Cancun....what he did for New Britain students with his vision and help establishing the health academy.....how many lives he touched. There are a multitude of people who will experience his loss.

A professional in every sense of the word, and a heart that made him that much more effective as a leader. God has another good one, for sure.
