Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in the passing of a wonderful guy.
He will be sorely missed. I believe Dave made a profession of faith by trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. He is in a far better place now. Thanks to God the Father for giving us His Son, Jesus Christ, the Savior from our sin and it's results.
John 3:16
P.S. May the peace of God keep you all comforted!

I can't believe we've lost the Cur-dog. I always thought he was like the Dick Clark of the Gashouse. He never seemed to age, he never changed. I will miss his smile and his laid back and quiet demeanor. He was such a great athlete and team mate for the Gashouse. He will be missed greatly. Sid

Dave took great care of us at Spare Time and it was great to see him back bowling. When he managed the bar next door at the hotel he was very friendly with our service techs that stayed there they all talked about what a great guy he was. I will miss the chance to bowl in a tournament with Dave he always wanted to be my partner. Ron Pohl(Williamston)

Uncle David, I once read that "Quality is more important than quantity. One home run is much better than two doubles." Though the game of life left you with limited at bats, I'll always remember how you swung for the fences when it came to your life, your family, and your friends. Thank you for loving my Mom. Thank you for being the coolest Godfather. I love you and will miss you.

David was always a gentlemen and a gentle man! I knew him when his kids were little. He loved Laurie and Chad. When Chad was born he was so proud. I know he was a wonderful grandfather too. I will be praying for the whole family during this difficult time.

What a handsome picture! We love Dave and he will always hold a special place in our hearts. He took Delaney under his wing and helped her grow, she took to him immediately and knew it was someone she could always count on. To us, that is priceless! We pray you will find peace soon. Trish & Delaney

The past is something you can't change. The future is something you try to see. The present is where you are. If lucky, you're worthy of the moment. Although too few, my brother David was most certainly worthy of the moments of his well-lived life.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Dave was a kind and loving father and grandfather who loved his family dearly. May the love and memories you shared give you comfort at this very difficult time.
In deepest sympathy,
Joe and Sandy Townsend
