David Thomas Daker

David Thomas Daker, age 63, of Marshall died Monday, June 6, 2011 at Borgess Medical Center. Mr. Daker was born on December 20, 1947 in Jackson, Michigan to Thomas and Veda (White) Daker. He was a life long resident of the Marshall and Battle Creek areas. David was a graduate of Marshall High School, class of 1966. He had worked as a machine operator at the Clark Equipment Company in Battle Creek for 22 years. For the last five years, he had worked in Albion for Narconon as the Transportation Supervisor. On February 14, 2000, he married the former Linda K. Dickson Manke in Las Vegas. He is survived by his wife, Linda; son, David A. Daker of Battle Creek; daughter, Christine Helton of Alabama; 3 grandchildren; mother and step-father Veda and William Herrin of Marshall; and sisters, Molly Bylow of Battle Creek and Sharon Hudson of Battle Creek. No services are being planned at this time.
