David Day

I feel lucky to have known Dave, both as a sharp IT professional and a passionate Star Island supporter. We didn´t always agree on the "how", but he always took the time to teach me his "why". He was generous with his knowledge, especially when it came to the nuances of running internet on a remote island, such a niche world, and he made it fascinating!

I´ll never forget sitting in the Oceanic lobby probably circa 2009 as Dave patiently taught me how to terminate Cat5 cable, complete with his little jingle to remember the color order. That moment stuck with me, not just for the skill, but for how he shared it.
