I had the distinct honor of premiering several of David's vocal works. Some might say he didn't write for the human voice and often made singers work hard with his extended ranges but it was always worth it. He was a master composer, and a splendid fellow. Thanks for everything, Maestro.

As his mate, his companion for five years I can say that David Del Tredici was very special in so many ways. He was in observation the most interesting human being I have ever known. His focus on his craft composing was unrivaled. That will be his domain for 90-95% of the day. Everything revolved around composing. Thus, I will do everything for him to have breaks. I pushed him and found his love of cycling on the West Side Highway. We took weekend breaks to travel to our second city of Philadelphia. Additionally, I helped him rediscover the love that I had when he introduced me to Yaddo the artist community in Saratoga Springs. He did not want to go. I insist that he did and thus took break from the hustle and bustle that is the city of NYC. Finally, together we took trips to France, Greece, Miami, Oregon, Santa Fe, Maine, etc. The best trip was a tie to the Pablo Casals festival in southern France and going to Mykonos for a week. The memories will last a life time. I love you David. We are happy that we found together a final resting place close to Lenny. Angellos misses you daily. You are not forgotten. The memories will live forever. Your music will live to eternity.
