I only knew David for a short while, but he was one of my favorite residents to work with. He had a kind soul, always positive, very grateful, and just a fresh breath of air. I admired the love he and his wife Emily shared, it was so sweet to see them interact, they embodied pure love. I was so upset to hear of his sudden passing. I pray for his wife, and family's peace, as they celebrate his life. He was someone very special, and will never be forgotten. I literally can still hear his voice. He always said "Thank you". His kindness just blessed my soul. It was an honor to spend time caring for him. May he rest Peacefully.

We will miss Dave for his thoughtful personality, the intelligent conversations we had with him over the years, his great sense of humor and his passion for science among so many other attributes. He was always such a good sport no matter what we decided to do, from having a garage sale to trying new cuisines at true hole in the wall restaurants or hosting a murder mystery party. We had so many memorable times with him and Emily. He treated everyone with respect and cared so much for Emily. We will always remember him.

We were on Royal Caribbean cruise with Dave and Emily in 2013. He was a very kind and caring person. It was such a beautiful and loving couple. We share the love for orchids. I still have the orchid he gave me and it always remind me of Dave and the time we spent together.

Dave will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful human being. We witnessed his love of Emily over the years and his desire to protect her physically and emotionally. While a man of quiet intent, his brilliance was ever present for all to witness. May the sun once again shine for the loved ones and friends he has left behind.
