Uncle David was my dad's (Ben Esteban) father figure when he was growing up because their own father passed away when my dad was only two months old. My dad was the youngest in the family and Uncle David was the oldest. He was my father's idol and mentor. My dad told me stories about my Uncle David when I was growing up which included when they were in the Philippines and when Uncle David came to the United States as a young doctor. I heard that he was a hard worker and a good brother to them. He was a caring and wonderful brother and uncle. He will be truly missed. May his soul rest in peace. Love, Ben, Nemia, Jo Anne, Sarah, and family.

My sincere condolences to the Esteban family. Dr. Esteban's pediatric practice was next door to my father's dental practice, Dr. Nicholas Billeris. Both Dr. and Mrs. Esteban became our patients. Such wonderful people and we enjoyed having them as patients. I distinctly remember the conversation between Dr. Esteban and my father about their birth dates being just 5 days apart in the same year. Dr. Esteban was a wonderful and caring doctor. My sincere sympathy goes out to his family.
