David Lee Etchison, 28, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 3, 2016. His Funeral Service will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 in James Island Presbyterian Church, 1632 Fort Johnson Road, at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. David was born April 11, 1988 in Charlotte, North Carolina, son of William E. Etchison, Jr. and Denise Givens Fox. One of his greatest joys was hanging a line off of the Folly Beach pier, and he had a passion for cooking. He is survived by his mother, Denise Fox and husband Olin of Pinehurst, NC; father, William E. Etchison, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Columbia, SC; brother, William James Etchison of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Lisa R. Lewis and husband Trey of Lafayette, LA; grandparents: James C. and Fannie D. Givens of Gaffney, SC; Uncle Ken and Aunt Carlen Abernethy of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law, Krista Tubo Etchison Raleigh, NC; and two nieces: Mya Shiffler and Khloe Etchison, both of Raleigh, NC. Memorials may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
