David Fleenor

David A. Fleenor BRISTOL, Va. David A. Fleenor, age 55, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010, at his home. David was the son of the late J. C. Fleenor. He was a native and lifelong resident of the Bristol area, and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Hill Fleenor; his mother, Florence Ingle Fleenor of Bristol Virginia; three sons, Richard Allen "Bo" Fleenor and Anthony Lynn Fleenor both of Bristol, and Jamie Lee Fleenor of Abingdon, Va.; also surviving is one sister, Pat Hartsock of Bristol Virginia; four brothers, Larry Wayne Fleenor and Danny Lee Fleenor, both of Bristol Virginia, Kenneth Lynn Fleenor of Marion, Va., and Marvin Fleenor of Abingdon, Va.; five grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 20, 2010, in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Spencer and Rev. Charles Travis Ingle officiating. Committal services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, June 21, 2010, in Hughes Family Cemetery, Short 700 off Benhams Rd., Bristol, VA. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Akard Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
