David Forland Obituary
David Orvin Forland, age 77, of LeRoy, died Dec. 20, 2017, at his home.
He was born on Aug. 12, 1940, in Dundee, Ill., to Orvin and Lillian Lorraine (Pickerill) Forland. He attended school in Wykoff and LeRoy. David enlisted in the Army in the early 1960s and was stationed in Germany. He later moved to Chicago, where he worked at Stewart-Warner. In 1994, he retired and moved back to LeRoy. David enjoyed his dogs and his miniature horse. He will be remembered for his ability to play beautiful music all by ear.
He is survived by his three sisters, Bonnie Woltmann of Spring Valley, Carolyn (Harold) Meyer of Mesa, Ariz., and Linda (Gary) Woods of Spring Valley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
