David Fuchs Obituary

After a brief and courageous battle with cancer, Dave Fuchs passed away peacefully on Friday morning, October 28, 2011. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Alice of 49 years, daughter Sandi (Ted MacDonald), son Darcy (Darcie), daughter Jodi (Tim Purvis), grandchildren Kyle and Tyler, grand puppies Axl and Jagr. He is predeceased by his parents (Joe & Mary Fuchs) and brother-in-law Lefty Schlechter. He is fondly remembered by his remaining brothers & sister's Irene (Don), Al (Carol), Pearl, Elsie (Johnny), Joe (Fran), Dianne (Claude), Del (Nancy), Aggie (Wayne), Jerry (Ladette), sister-in-law Yvonne, Evelyn (Wilf), brother-in-law Mervin and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dave enjoyed working in various areas for Sasktel. After retirement, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and gardening. He also enjoyed doing volunteer work and spending time helping others. A celebration of Dave's life will be held at Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, Tuesday, November 1, 2011, at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dave's name to either The MS Society, or the Allan Blair Cancer Centre.

to the Fuchs family. sorry for your lose of a great husband,father and grandfather.He is my sisters husbands father. My sister would always invite Darcy's parents over they were a great couple always had a smile on their faces. It was always nice to see them their. With every passing day the pain will lession and you have your own angel looking down on you. Dave will always be in our hearts. Remember the times you have shared with him that is how you keep his spirit alive. He will be forever missed until we meet again.
