David Gamache Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 8, 2022.
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the peaceful passing of our father David Charles Gamache on January 3rd at the age of 70. He is survived by Frances, his children, Ryan (Lynn) and Dana (Ben) and his grandsons that he adored Hayzen, David and Nathan. He will be dearly missed by all his family including his brothers Paul and John, the Cowden family, Grannie Kerr and other extended family and friends. Like his father, he was a Stationary Engineer. He retired from a successful career at CCIW in Burlington. For those that knew him, they will likely remember Dave's witty sense of humour and his kind heart. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation, SPCA or your local community food bank. A celebration of life is being planned for later in the year.

Our entire family extends our sympathies to the Gamache family. As long time neighbours we knew Dave as a very nice man who was loved by his family and he will be missed by all that knew him.

I was a school mate of David and Frances and I remember his smile and laughter as contagious. A good team player. I am better having known this man. Let us not forget, that when fate comes to the door, even the greatest of kings must answer the call. Gone but not forgotten.
