David Gates Obituary
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Dave served his country with honor and dedication. His commitment to service reflected the values he carried throughout his life-steadfastness, loyalty, and a deep sense of responsibility.
Dave's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He shared a devoted marriage with his wife, Sheila L. Gates, whose companionship was a constant source of strength and love. Together they built a life centered around family and togetherness.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter Jill Noel Lloyd and her husband Kevin Lloyd; his son Dustin Gates and Dustin's wife Elizabeth Gates; and Kimberly Greenwood. Dave was a cherished grandfather to Zachary Knotts, Cassidy Knotts, Spencer Knotts, Ashton Greenwood, and Connor Greenwood. His presence in their lives leaves an enduring legacy of warmth and connection.
Dave was preceded in death by his brothers Harvey Gates and Earl Gates.
