Was so sorry to hear of the loss of Dave. Both Shorty and I have fond memories of the Geddes farm and of both of you. God Bless you all,

To Ann: I am truly sorry for the loss of such a wonderful man. I will always remember the love you two shared and the happiness spread by your love. To all Geddes': thank you for giving me the opportunity to get to know Ann and Dave. I will never forget the memories at the farm (how I had so much fun with the blue berries). I will cherish the memories and stories shared by all. May God be with you in your time of need. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love always, amy marie

I was the little sister and always wanted to do what Frank did, I finally at the age of ten was allowed to be with the ladies in the barn sorting and packing the blueberries. I soon became a regular and couldn't stay away from the Geddes farm. Working with Ann and Old Dave for many years I was blessed to be able to have tea with Ann and watch the ball games as well as listen to Old Dave's stories about my dad, or about the life of being a musician. Regardless of my absence over the past few years Ann and Old Dave have truly touched my life, and have shown us all how much love they shared for one another. Ann I am deeply sorry for the lost of such a great man who has touched so many lives and brought such happiness to so many people.
You are in my thoughts.

Dear Geddes family, I have had the pleasure to know and love this very talented man, we have seen and heard him play the fiddle,guitar, mandolin,he was one of the best, and we even had fun at the same camp site at Blistered Fingers Festival where I got to sing we him and Paul. I know everyone is going to miss this GREAT MAN .

Dear Geddes Family,

I would like to offer my most heartfelt sympathy in your loss. Dave was a wonderful person, talented and loving.He was a very quiet man, but I could get a few words from him in the hallway of the Gilmanton School. I would often talk with him about his love of music and would catch him on the Community Channel playing his fiddle.
Mr. Geddes' death is a sad loss for you and for many others here at the Gilmanton School. We too will sorely miss him!

To all of Dave's family,
We have not been in contact in many years, but am so sorry to hear of your loss. Many years ago Dave and Dunkin work closely with my grandfather (Arthur (Bobby) Dowes and my father John E. Dowes, Sr.)in the logging business. Dave and his band also played at our wedding all most 30 years ago at the Loudon VFW Hall. We will always remember his great love off music. Our thoughts are with you all!

Deepest sympathy to the Geddes Family on your great loss.I never got to talk to him much,but his fiddle spoke like an angel and I knew in a few draws of his bow across his strings he was a soulful man.

Dear Mrs. Geddes....I was so sad to hear this news. I know it's been a long time since I've been able to visit, but I have the just the nicest memories of Mr. Geddes. He always made me feel so special. Shiny apples make me think of Mr. Geddes and I chuckle after that first bite! I wish you blessings and peace knowing that he's with the Lord and probably enjoying a flawless orchard!

Dear Geddes Family,
Today the music stopped one more time...and the silence is deafening. However, I know that in Heaven that Dad and Dave are playing the best darned country misic and Heidi is singing and dancing to it. That helps a little to once again be left behind. On behalf of Fred(now known as Shorty)and Betty, Mom, and myself and all the members of our family, we send our deepest love and prayers for your strengthening and peace in the days to come. We will all miss Dave more than you could ever know as you have never been far from us though miles and years have kept us apart. You have always been tucked away in our hearts and good memories and always will be.

We want to express our condolences to Ann, Mary and all of Dave’s family. Dave brought joy to so many with his music. We will always remember him playing “The Orange Blossom Special” – as recently as June 9th at the Mill Ice Cream Café and Fudge Factory in Bristol.

A great man has passed to his next journey...may he always keep a tune in our hearts...a smile on our faces...and the strenghth of a big oak to bear the absence of his presence...
Although we haven't known each other long, you were a tremendous
positive addition to Franks' life, and that my friend, makes him the better man for me, by having you in his life.
