To the Geis Family: My heartfelt sympathies go out to the family and friends during this difficult time. I hope that the promise in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 can bring comfort. Knowing that there's a hope for the ones we have lost in death can be so reassuring.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Matthew 5:4. Happy are those who mourn, since they will be comforted.

Dave and I were friends when we met as freshman at brophy. We did lots of camping, hunting, fishing through high school. He was a great athlete, varsity letter in the 100 yard as a freshman. 10.2 seconds. Lettered all 4 years. Dry, sarcastic humor. Loved it. Pete, steph, Matt very sorry. Mrs Geis, my heart goes out to you. Your hair looks very nice by the way, did you just have it done? Inside joke. Hope the future takes some of your pain away.

Peter, Stephanie, Matthew, my goodness. This was such a jarring shock. It's hard to see someone you love become someone you don't recognize and even when you know the outcome, the pain is real and deep.
I've always thought of our relationship as familial even though it is business, my heart is heavy and i wish i could do something to make yours lighter.
David, Godspeed.

I have no words to express the pleasure I received from working with David for the past 13 years. His sarcasm, kindness, friendship and mentoring will be missed.
David - may your journey across the rainbow bridge bring you to a place with the best wines, hiking trails and camping spots in the Universe. May you also bring peace and strength to all that love you as you watch over from your perch above. I shall miss you Forrest, as a business associate and mentor, but more so as a friend.
