David Lewis George

Dr George saved my husband's life..... plain and simple. Definitely a special place in heaven for him.

I pray Dr David George passed at peace with Jesus. God bless his family.

David and I trained together in Infectious Diseases at the University of Chicago. He was a terrific colleague and such a kind and thoughtful person. I was so sad to learn of his passing. We had spoken intermittently through the years but not since COVID upended everything. My belated condolences to David´s loved ones.

Just learned about the death of Dr.George on 4/15/25 and I am lost for words,Dr. George was my Doctor the entire time I resided in Memphis and had the best bed side manners anyone could ever ask for. He gave me the best treatment plan and made sure I stayed on track. Good Doctors like him are extremely rare in this day in time, my sincerest condolences to his family friends and other patients

I just learned of his passing. I will miss him. Fabulous physician I really enjoyed working alongside as a critical care MD. My prayers go out to you and your family. He will be missed!!

Dear Dr. George,
Your departure is very painful and such a huge loss to me and to the thousands and thousands of patients and colleagues/ co-workers touched by your superb and genuine medical care, compassion, kindness, devotion, ...
And, even though your body is no longer with us, your soul and legacy will remain so for ever.

I am so sorry to hear about dr. george. He was the most kindest and attentive doctor. He showed that he really loved his job. I am so sorry to his family. I was a patient of his since 1998.

Dr George was the kindest Doctor´s I have ever been Blessed to meet ! He helped me thru a time when I was diagnosed with Lyme disease .He was a gift to his patient´s and will never be forgotten !

I am so sad to hear of Dr. George´s passing. I knew him when I worked the floor at Baptist Memphis from 2008-2015 and was so glad to see him sporadically when I returned in 2019. He was always such a pleasure to talk to and so willing to impart his wisdom, chat and tell his jokes that gave us all a chuckle. It was a blessing to know him. Praying for everyone who loved him and is grieving his passing.

I met Dr. George in 1989 he was so nice to me being a new nurse and over the years our friendship grew with a lot of respect for each other I want to offer my sincere condolences to the family rest in peace vmy friend
