I just learned of Dave´s passing from a web search. Dave and Lynne did more for me than anyone in my life. They put a roof over my head, in the best place any kid in his mid-20´s could ask for, where I got to spend my days helping out with cows, pigs and the best rottweilers you would ever meet (Sam and Chloe) and later an awesome Bernese mountain dog (Shaka) - yes, Nikki and Clovis were good dogs too, but Sam was always my favorite, a true gentle, noble giant. I never would have finished my undergrad if it wasn´t for Dr. Dave and I will remain forever grateful to him. He helped me to shape my life. Peace, Dave. And thank you, sir.

Lynne:

We were saddened to learn of Dave's passing from Matt. Dave was always very kind to me when I visited the West Groton house, and you were equally kind and generous to me when you joined his family. Thinking of you, Dave, Matt, and the entire Gleason family while I reflect on happy childhood memories hanging out at the Gleason farm, during simpler times in West Groton.

We didn't know David for very long, but we enjoyed and appreciated every moment we spent in his company, sharing stories over a glass of wine. He will be much missed. We send love and condolences to Lynne and the family. Love Andrea and David

David was a lovely man, interested and interesting. He would check out his grocery purchases and by the time he left the line, he knew everything about the cashier! We will miss him.
