Gone, but not forgotten. David was my mentor, and a dear friend. He taught me common sense approaches to editing, and how best to deal with contentious topics, dispute resolution, and contrarians on open source projects. He was so very proud of his new grandson. RIP, David. You were loved and respected by many.
