David V. Gracia

I am extremely sadden to hear that Mr. Gracia has passed away I had him for Chemistry at FCHS as well as for another science class my senior year. He was also our Brain Brawl coach and I still will always have found memories of our mole projects thanks to Mr. Gracia who still after 20 years I can remember most of that periodic table he had us memorize. May flights of angels keep you Mr. Gracia you will be missed.

So sad to hear. Mr. Gracia was my chemistry teacher @fchs. My prayers are with his family.

Mr. Gracia was my science teacher in 9th and 10th grade at First Coast. He was a good teacher, and you could tell that he cared about his students. I remember he was always trying to get me to apply myself. I think it's safe to say that he made a difference in many lives. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

My prayers are with you! David welcomed me to First Coast HS when I first started he was a sweet man.

He was an amazing Chemistry teacher to me and so many students at FCHS. Although he was hard on me from time to time, I truly appreciated it because he believed in us all. Thank you sir. Rest in Paradise Mr. Gracia.

Mr Gracia was a wonderful teacher and I enjoyed his style of teaching. Made things easier to understand and was always ready to help when you needed it whether it was about his class or other classes.

Mr. Gracia was a great teacher and a wonderful person. He will be greatly missed.

He certainly was a wonderful Chemistry teacher- I also have never been more excited then when Mole day occurred because it was a big celebration in his class. Thank you for the fond memories Gracia- RIP.

Mr. Gracia was a great chemistry teacher. He had a great sense of humor and made things easy to understand when he taught. He wanted us to know that material so bad He would go over and over it until we got it. RIP

Sorry to hear of this early death! Mr. Garcia came to Englewood while I was there and had the honor to be in his chemistry class! Thoughts and prayers are with his family!

Such a sad loss. He was loved by so many students. I had many many laughs with this man.

Mr. Gracia was a great teacher. I loved his happy attitude and sense of humor. He used to call me Mole-issa :) He will be missed. (FCHS 94)

So sad to see this...not only was he my science teacher but also our Interact Club sponsor and dedicated his time and efforts to making all lives he touched better! He was an Inspiration to me and my fellow classmates! My condolances to his family for your loss!

We gave Mr. Gracia a little grief from time to time, he always wanted everyone to strive to do better. He was excellent chemistry teacher and person. Prayers for the family in this difficult time.

Sorry for your loss. Mr. Gracia was my chemistry teacher 25 years ago. I fondly remember his pop quizzes and his interactive teaching style. Rest in Peace.

I remember Mr. Gracia. He was my 1st period Chemistry at Englewood High School in 1989. He was a standout teacher who cared about his students. He motivated a bunch of misfits in our class to do their best everyday. His impact on my life is still evident today 25 years later.

My condolences to the Gracia family. Some of my best times at Englewood High School occurred in his Chemistry class. We won't ever forget Dave Gracia. May God be with you all during this difficult time.

I'm so very sorry to hear of Mr. Garcia's passing. He was such an encouragement me in high school. I remember him telling me 1) to stop being lazy, and 2) that college was not optional. He was right on both counts. He was quick witted and had a great sense of humor. He was a truly caring teacher and individual. He will be missed.

Mr. Gracia, was my science teacher for standard chemistry an AP Chemistry at First Coast High School I always enjoyed his class. My prayers condolences and sympathy go out to the family.

Thoughts are with his family and friends. My year with Mr. Gracia as my teacher was probably the last time I held any understanding in a science class. We shared different views on football teams, but it always made for interesting conversations during the season. Rest peacefully.

I am so sorry to hear about David. He was such a good friend to me at First Coast. I have many wonderful memories of Brain Brawl, outings to Fernandina, and very thoughtful gifts. I have thought of him often in the last year. I'm so sorry I didn't try to get in touch with him. He was a wonderful educator and touched the lives of many students and teachers during his career. Please let me know if there is anything I can do.

Mr. Gracia was one of my favorite teachers. He made science fun and enjoyable to learn. I will never forget Mole Day and the fun we had. I am praying for his family to find peace..He touched so many lives
