We remember well the time when you and your Dad came to visit us in Georgia. It happened to be Andy's birthday and we celebrated together at Cracker Barrel. We are praying for you and your family and look forward to when we can see David again in Heaven. We are so thankful for that.

I will miss my great uncle whose heart was as big as the imagination; but I rejoice to know that he has received the ultimate healing and is the presence of God.

I am sorry for your loss. We also lost my mother on September 18th. We all went to Dr. Graham since we were small kids. He was a great dentist. May God Bless You All During this time.

Dr. Graham was our family dentist for years. He was wonderful to us, almost a part of the family. Not only was he fabulous doctor, he was also a fabulous human being. My thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time. Be comforted in the knowledge that we will see him again some day.

Marshall, tho we have lost touch in the last years I still remember you and David well. I am sorry to hear of his death and pray for your family and friends of David

I want to express my deepest sympathy to all of your family and know that you are all in my prayers.

In the mid 60's our father was the base dental surgeon at Kindley Air Force Base, Bermuda. Dr. Graham was one of his dental officers. Being fresh out of dental school, Dr. Graham was closer in age to us than to our father. Mom and Dad treated him like one of our family. We had him over for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. He was involved in everything we did on, and in, the beautiful Bermuda waters: snorkeling, sailing, water skiing, building a raft out of 55 gallon oil drums, etc. But I guess he felt guilty for having it so well when others were risking their lives in the war, so he volunteered for duty in Viet Nam. We felt all the anxiety a family feels every minute he was over there. That was the last time I saw him--until one day in September of 2003 when he drove into Dad's driveway in Wimberley, Texas, to attend our mother's funeral. It was so good to see him, yet it was impossible not to cry--he was our mother's favorite adopted son and our adopted brother.

My memories of great times with David go back thirty six years now. I don't ever remember seeing David without "that smile" on his face. Truly one of the good guys. Sorry Marshall!

DAVID WAS A GOOD FRIEND TO ME AND MY FAMILY SINCE 1970. AFTER MOVING TO TEXAS AND USING OTHER DENTIST, I STILL GET COMPLIMENTS ON ALL THE WORK HE DID FOR ME. I AM SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. HE WAS A WONDERFUL PERSON.

Dear Graham Family: I am so sorry for your loss. I will be forever grateful to David for the impact he made on my life and so many others. He was a good man, with a heart of gold, and will be dearly missed. May he rest in peace with his Maker.

My father asked me to share this story about David Graham. David was stationed in Bermuda before he went to Viet Nam and served with my dad whom he fondly referred to as "Colonel". He spent many hours with our family when he and my dad were not working in the "clinic" while there. We considered him part of our family. When his tour there was up, David had felt it his patriotic duty to volunteer to go to Viet Nam and did receive orders to report as soon as his tour there was up. Unfortunately there was no leave time included in the orders which would have allowed him to return to the states first and see his family before reporting to his Viet Nam assignment. He had been in Bermuda 2 years at this point. David was ready and willing to do this because he felt his country needed him there immediately or these orders would have included a leave FIRST. Dad knew there had been a mistake and he should have the opportunity to take a leave in order to go home and say goodbye to his family before going into a war zone. My Dad said this was the only time he ever had to give a direct order to David Graham...which was for him (David) to insist to the person in charge of dental assignments that he will be invoking his right to return home first to say goodbye to his family. Thank you for the opportunity to share this about one brave man who showed patriotism to it's fullest. We will miss him.

Missy and Dave, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

David was a cherished member of the Our-Home-Fellowship family.

Since his illness began, we have missed his presence at our functions. I am glad for him that he is now in the presence of our Lord.

To the son David,Dr.John Graham & Pat, Marshall & Becky, Edwin & Jackie and to the extended family. Bob and I were sad to learn of the passing of David. We have many fond memories of the Graham family and we love each of you.

The Final Salute



“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.





This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Dr. David Graham our Brother in Arms. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Dr. Graham. And to Dr. Graham it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country during the Vietnam War while serving as a Dental Officer in the U.S. Army. Dr. Graham we bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at ease. Rest in Peace.
