Laura Miller (was Laurie Lindemeyer)
July 7, 2024
Dave and Esther both left an eternal legacy on my life as a teen and into adulthood. Teaching by example, I watched year by year their faithfulness and stewardship at church. Leading the choir, having the teens over for hay rides and just checking in with me as I was growing up and encouraging my walk with Jesus! They let me borrow their cabin at the Nazarene campgrounds a few times. Another time when I was really struggling with life, they asked me over after church on a Sunday night to help me through it. They stayed in touch with me at ONU while going through nursing school and then as I married we kept in touch from time to time. I told them that they were one of the reasons I wanted to give back to working with the youth of our church for 25 years. The faithfulness and encouragement I received from the Grangers had eternal meaning for me. Their legacy lives on...a life well lived for Jesus!
