David Thayer Grose

Just saw this, and wanted to send my condolences to Danny and Peggy. Your Dad was awesome, such a kind hearted and talented man.His art will live on.

I just saw this - almost a year later. We treasure our many David Grose prints as well as the memories of him showing our young sons (now young men) how the silk screen process worked. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

I am very sorry to learn today of the prior passing of David Grose. I got to know David and Margit in the early 1970's through Grose Gallery in Dennis. Over the years I have purchased numerous signed/dated serigraphs and many prints by David Grose. My best friend here in Pennsylvania owns a painting by David titled "The Impending Wave" which my friend cherishes every day ! My many nicely framed pieces by David Grose hang throughout my home. At the time of the Dennis Bicentennial in 1993 Mr. Grose painted my favorite cottage onto that particular serigraph coming over to 9 Highland Street to do so ! At every visit to Dennis, Cape Cod, every year I would always stop by Grose Gallery to visit. I had a very nice visit with Dave and Margit at their retirement home over Labor Day week 2010. My sincere condolences to Margit and her children. It was a real pleasure to have known David Grose for these many 40 + years.
