David Thomas Gusick

David Thomas Gusick passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on July 28, 1948, David was the son of the late Martin Gusick and Mildred Andrews. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmen Gusick (Hetherington), with whom he shared many wonderful years of love and companionship.

He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Ault (Christopher), and his son, Andrew Gusick (Taryn); his grandchildren, Ryder, Tanner, Spencer, Nadia, and Gunner; and his brother, Martin Gusick. He was predeceased by his sister, Patricia Tretter (Gusick).

David had a deep appreciation for life's simple joys. He found great pleasure in fishing, watching sports, enjoying classic 1950s and 1960s television shows, and spending time at the casino. One of his favorite daily rituals was tackling The Morning Call crossword puzzle, a pastime that brought him both joy and a sense of accomplishment.

His greatest joy came from supporting his children and grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to cheer them on at their sporting events, always offering encouragement and unwavering support. His presence was a source of strength and love for those closest to him.

David's Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 3024 South Ruch St., Whitehall, PA 18052. A visitation will take place in the church from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m., followed by the Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Due to the observance of Lent, flowers are not permitted in the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a local charity supporting youth sports in his memory.
