David C. Hamp SR

David C. Hamp Sr., age 82, of St. Germain formerly of Waukesha, passed away December 29, 2024, at his home. He was born on November 26, 1942, in Waukesha, to William H. and Amelia Rose (nee: Tymnick) Hamp. On September 11, 1965 he married his devoted wife, the former Susan Pfeifer in Waukesha, she survives. He attended Waukesha South High School class of 1960 and after high school proudly served in the United States Marine Corps stationed in Hawaii teaching guerilla warfare. Upon returning from the service in 1964, he worked for Wisconsin Centrifugal, retiring as a Forman in 2002. He loved his retirement home in St. Germain and was proud to have built the home himself with the help of his son Michael, his brother Bill, his wife Sue, and many friends. He enjoyed his time spent with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his best friends and neighbors Jim and Karen Grace.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Susan, sons David (Kelly) Hamp Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida, Thomas (Robin) Hamp of Waukesha, and Michael (Amy) Hamp of Waukesha, grandchildren Sean Hamp, Nicolette Hamp, Logan Hamp, Colin Hamp, Paige Hamp, and Izabella Hamp, great-grandchildren Ethan, Evelynn, Sadie, Sage, and Alice. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. David was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Bill and Donald, and sisters Jane, Vi, and Elaine.

Visitation will be held Saturday January 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM at Randle Dable Brisk Funeral Home 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha WI 53186. Military Honors will follow the services
