David and I had a lot of fun arguing UK vs UL basketball and football (if you know David, you know which team was his), but politically and spiritually we were very similar. He loved his family, was very proud of Cindy, Greg and Daniel; don't want to forget Jaclyn and Cole. He talked about his family a lot.
One day, I suggested we start an employment agency, Harbinford Recruitment (my company is Binford Recruitment). Dave loved that suggestion and always wanted to know where the heck were his checks (they were always in the mail). I'll miss those weekly phone calls and my 100 emails weekly from him. I guess, I'll just miss him.

Dear Cindy,
Although we didn't have the pleasure of knowing David, we know that he must have been an amazing man to have been married to you. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you at this time of your loss. Gene and Peg Duenow

Cindy,
I know you probably don't remember us but we were David's friends from INAAP (Ind. Army Ammunition Plant). It was just a few weeks ago that Linda and I were in the vicinity of Rose Island and was reminiscing about all the fun we had working with David. We actually tried to locate your home to come and see the two of you, but to no avail. This just saddens our hearts. Dave was a kind and caring individual. We have a many fond memories from our years in Labor Relations he many years we worked together. We lost touch with Dave after he left Jefferies Inc. Please express our sincere condolences to your entire family. The world has lost one fine individual. May God Bless You All.
Sincerely,
Donna Huff

David, you were always a gentleman. A kind caring smile a piece of fruit with a happy face drawn on it and a cold drink. Garage door up, he'd be sitting in there talking on the phone. He was so proud of his grandson! Hold him by the hand and walk him out to get his mail. He was a good man who will be missed by all that knew him. My route will never be the same. Sheree-Mail carrier

To the family of David I wish to offer my sincere condolences. I met David and Bruce Heck the same night and married Bruce. David and Bruce were so close growing up and in the navy. I know that Bruce is feeling the pain of losing David. David was always so full of fun and mischief, he was a pleasure to be around, just to see what he was going to think up next to do. He loved the river and I'm sure that he has a spot picked out somewhere close to a river up in Heaven to park a boat. I pray that one day we will all meet again in Heaven where there is no illness, no wars, no afflictions, only peace, love and togetherness with all our loved ones. May you all find peace in knowing that David is without pain and walking in Heaven with his Father.
