My family and I would like to thank everyone for sharing their memories of my father. It means so much to us to look at here and see all of the pages of people he has touched. My father was a wonderful man who loved to laugh and make others laugh. He raised me to become a strong girl and a spitting image of him. Our memories with him will forever be in our hearts! My family and I miss him each and everyday and we thank you for your condolences, love and support through this hard time in out lives.

Thank you

My heart is so sad as I am sure lots and lots of people are. David and I worked and played together at P.M. for many years. Wonderful old memories of the 70's,80's and 90's flashed in my mind as I think of him now. What a wonderful person and friend he was . I am so sorry to see him go and will miss him greatly. Dear Family,

I am sorry to hear the tragic news about David. I grew up a block down 3rd Avenue from the Hawkes family and also went to St. Elizabeth School. My younger sisters were good friends with JoAnn and David. He will be missed by all who knew him. God Bless you all!

I went to St. Elizabeth's with David and he was always one of my favorite people. I was delighted to spend time with him at the recent reunion and we had talked about getting together again. I was amazed at how little he had changed over the years. Still had the same kind smile and halarious as ever. I know he will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
