David Hobson

Twenty five (25) years ago, I had the honor and privilege of working with congressman Hobson when he assisted me in securing federal funding to purchase a much needed ambulance for our small rural community of Mechanicsburg Ohio. It was in September of 1999 that the Mechanicsburg EMS was recipients of federal funding secured by congressman Hobson's to purchase the vehicle. This is a photo copy of a newspaper clipping that appeared on the front page of the Urbana Daily Citizen on Sept. 2, 1999. Thank you Congressman Hobson.

RIP David

Retired US Rep. Dave Hobson was an effective, understanding, and compassionate public servant. He cared about his constituents, he cared about fellow Buckeye and he was a strong advocate for a strong military. Dave was a strong supporter of Clark State Community College.
Dave built and then sold the first group home for individuals with disabilities in Champaign County to CRSI in the late 70´s. He assisted services, housing and care for individuals with disabilities.
I was proud to be a fellow fraternity brother with his son Doug.
