I only met David in October of 2012, when he came out to Philadelphia for our Northeast Regional Flotilla Seabadge course. He was a wonderful guy and his love for Scouting was evident and infectious, as was his sense of humor. I am so sorry for the loss!

I was one of David's Bobwhite Patrol mates in his Fall 2012 course. I was impressed by his tenacity and spirit. Our Scouting family was strengthened through his participation and diminished by his loss.

It was my pleasure to make David's acquaintance during Wood Badge (course W5-60-12-1). He constantly impressed me with his determination, dedication, and knowledge over the two all-too-short weekends of the course. He will be missed greatly.
May his memory always be for a blessing,

I am honored and humbled to have known David. Though we met only a year ago I considered him a long-time friend. I could not have accomplished the things I have without his wisdom, resources, and ingenuity. I will miss him deeply and the Scouting world has lost a humble servant leader.
