Hotton David Peacefully on 23rd February aged 80 years, at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital.
Born in Guernsey and a graduate of Jesus College, Oxford. He had a career in teaching languages and was former Headmaster of Tarring Boys' High School, Worthing. He had a great appreciation of theatre and music; as spectator, performer, writer and composer. He is survived by his wife Helen and children Tom, Emma and Paul.
Funeral service to take place at Emstrey Crematorium, Shrewsbury on Monday, 10th March at 11:00am.
Family flowers only, but any donations to The Mayfair Community Centre, Church Stretton

Was with Dave during National Service in the Royal Navy and we got on well.Who else but Dave would get burly ratings to dress up in
pillow cases and prance around as Clouds in St Andrews Town Hall.

I served with David in the RN in 1956-58 and was with him at RAF Pucklechurch where we tried to teach Russian to some naval personnel. Had a great time and have lots of happy memories - including a production of "Arms and the Man" !
