David Allen Jackson

David lived next to us growing up. We rode the school bus together. What a surprise when I worked at SPAWAR and saw David working there also. He was kind and always ask about my family. I knew what you are feeling as I just lost my Mom in December. God will give you comfort to get through this all you have to do is ask Him.

I grew up with David near Grover SC and can remember going home with him and his family after Sunday service at Grover United Methodist Church. His mother would have a huge Sunday meal cooked and I can remember sitting down at their table many times. We had a lot of good times together growing up playing softball and having fun together.

The had the pleasure and honor of working with Dave over many years. He always treated me and others in the community with dignity and respect. His voice, his perspective and his contributions will be missed. Peace be with you all.

My thought and prayers are with Dave's family. I coordinated many projects over the years and he was always very helpful and a pleasure to work with. May he rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave for a number of years. Incredible guy, extremely knowledgeable and highly respected amount his peers and the Submarine Force. He made a huge impact on everything he did and everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. RIP

May the God of all comfort bless and keep the family during this most difficult time as you await the time when all tears will be tears of joy.

Dave was a very intelligent individual and I sought out his council on several occasions. He'll be missed by all that he touched. Goodbye and God bless.

We will miss Dave very much - he was a fine person and an example to all who worked with him. I will miss his dry sense of humor most of all.

I worked with Dave in the shipyard and again when I returned from Japan to SPAWAR. He was great to work with and we had many good times. He used to let me come to his farm to cut firewood. Dave will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
