Here I am, March 2 of 2020. 3 weeks until your 1 year and I'm locced up. You passing away was such a hard experience. I've made bad and good decisions since everything happened. I just wish you were here to help me through the bad, you were wise and open hearted. That's the kind of thing I'm in need of right now.

I miss you, dad. Life is going so downhill now that you're not around. I wish you would just come back. I'm so weak, hurt, tired. I always wrote people's obituaries, last memoirs, final goodbyes, with ease, but here I am two months later speechless. I'm jealous you're up there without pain. I love you.

I met you when I was about 15yrs old and to be honest you were slightly intimidating, but once your little cousin introduced us I saw how kind you actually were, you always treated me with great respect even times I probably didnt deserve it, I will miss seeing your smiling face with a beep and a wave I wish the whole world could know a man like you, your family and friends are truly blessed to have known you Dave you will never ever be forgotten I just wish you could have stuck around a lot longer, but I know your smiling down on everyone! You left behind a beautiful family and lots of love so I know there has to be something even better waiting for us all after this see you again someday man RIP
