Melissa,

I wanted to send a quick note to you and the girls. David played such a huge roll in the drive to be a great competitor for me. Over the past twenty years the number of times Jennings and Gray and the Keck brothers were paired together is countless. The battles on the course with them are the greatest memories of my time with golf. As a college coach, every single day i teach players to find something deep down inside that is not just a talent, it is a God given ability to win!! David was the best I have ever seen at this. He was the single greatest competitor I have ever known. He will be missed at all the "tour stops" Velma, Duncan, Chick, Lindsay, Purcell and so so many others. Just know from all of the guys there will never be another like him, and we miss him tremendously. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the girls. Please never hesitate to call if there is ever anything we can do.

Melissa and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about David. The time we spent in Duncan was made so much better, just hanging out with you both. I can only imagine how hard this must be for you and the girls. Please know I am praying for God to lift you up and comfort you all. So many great memories from that time in my life and most of them have David (and his great smile) and you in them. I wish I was closer to help you at this time, but please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Please tell David's Parents they are in our prayers also.
With all my prayers and love,

It is impossible for me to convey what having David as a freind has meant to me since we started playing Golf together some 25 years ago. When I heard the news about his passing, to say that I was shocked would not convey the sense of loss I feel for his family and freinds. The memories that I have traveling, playing, and just hanging out will always be with me.
I will truly miss you David, I am proud to say you were one of my favorite people in the world.
To Melissa and the girls, If there is anything that I can possibly do for you, I am a phone call away.
I am so sorry for your loss. God Bless

THERE ARE NO WORDS THAT DESCRIBE THE WAY I FEEL AT THIS MOMENT. I SEND MY DEEPEST SYNPATHIES TO DAVID'S FAMILY. KERMIT, YOUR SON WAS LIKE A BROTHER TO ME, AND ONLY YOU KNOW THAT WE WERE MORE THAN JUST A 'TEAM' FOR A LONG TIME. DAVID JENNINGS MADE GOLF FUN FOR ME AND NOTHING GAVE ME MORE PLEASURE THAN TO PLAY GOLF WITH HIM. I WILL MISS HIM FOREVER AND LONG FOR THE TIME WHEN WE WILL MEET AGAIN. MELISSA, MY WIFE AND I PRAY FOR YOU AND THE GIRLS, AND KNOW THIS... DAVID TOUCHED THE HEARTS OF MANY, MANY PEOPLE...SOME FEARED HIM AS AN OPPONENT, SOME ENVIED HIS SKILL, BUT ALL WHO SAW HIM PLAY, REPECTED HIS GAME AND ATTITUDE! I LOVE DAVID JENNINGS AND WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIM!!!! JESSE AND LINDA NIETO

During this time of loss it's hard to put into words the empty feeling that surrounds me at this time. To David's family,it's not goodbye just till we see each other again. David loved his family, his friends, and the game of golf.He was successful at all of them but most of all ---- he told me that he was most proud of a woman who put up with him, care for him,and share her life with him,and to go sooo for for him to give him additioal treasures in two beautiful daughters. I asked him what the friends and golf and his reply was "Evertything and everyone else is just the gravey." My prayers are with you, Keep your eyes open cause you will see evidence of David and the impact he made on others. God Bless!
