David Karpa

Very sorry to hear this news. David was a close friend as we grew up in the same neighborhood in Salisbury Township together. We hung out a lot together and you could usually find the neighborhood gang playing basketball in the street just below his house. Dave was always a good athlete and excelled at most things he did. I recall that he was an especially good pool player and quite good at shuffleboard. He was a good friend.

We shared a Pennsylvania bond. Denise actually worked for the same boss that I served at PP&L. Dave was a good man -- a good friend -- a loving husband and a fellow with a special "joie de vivre". He loved Corvettes and attending Wranglers Hockey games with LVCA. He was a full participant in life. You will be missed, Dave. You left this world a better place. My heartfelt sympathy to you, Denise and to your families. Bless you.

Dave was a great guy - always smiling and willing to help anyone - even when he wasn't feeling up to par. We will also remember Dave as the best tour guide ever! He will be missed.

Don and I want to extend our deepest condolences to Denise, Dave's family and his many other friends. Dave was such a pillar of strength throughout his illness, yet he never complained about his pain and was grateful for what time he was given. We cherish our years of friendship and the fond and fun memories we have of him.
