In memory of
Paul Pushkar

I was tremendously saddened on hearing this. I've known David and Connie for decades now. In fact I was an usher at their wedding. I've shared many experiences with them in Montana, Mexico, and Canada. I first met him on one of my Bull Moose trips to the American southwest, and that was where he first met Connie. I could see the romance grow between them until they married.
One of many experiences was a hike into Blue Lake in the Gravelly range in the Gravelly range in Montana. This was a 3 or 4 mile hike through forest at an elevation of about 10,000 feet. We had to follow a rough trail which was only indicated by blazes on trees for most of the way. And then we had to leave the trail to drop down to the lake and we had to fix our position on a map to determine when to do that. When we got to the lake, we pulled several rainbow trout out of the lake and had them for supper.
A year later, we arranged a larger group that came down from Ohio and took them on the same hike.

To Connie and all the family. The Johnson family sends their love and sympathy at this time. The girls and I remember Dave as a generous guy who always welcomed us when we joined your family on Thanksgivings, especially when we couldn't drive back home. He always made us feel at home. Holding all of you in the light.

Connie and all of your wonderful family - I am so sorry to hear of Dave´s passing. I will keep you close in my thoughts and prayers. I do recall meeting Dave for the first time at Lindsay´s junior prom pictures. That memory has always stuck with me. I also remember the delicious barbecue from Dave for Relay for Life events - sooo good and generous. May warm memories of him always surround you and wrap you in love. - Pam Beasore

Dearest Kearns Family,
Our most sincere condolences for your loss. We treasure fond memories of Dave's kindly ways:
- his warm welcome to Dellwood Avenue
- spontaneous neighborly driveway chats
- the thoughtful gifts to Oliver (Dellwood Street sign, epic handcrafted walking stick by Dave himself, a special rock with a mysterious adventure story)
- always ready to generously loan a tool
-helped John compete in a bbq competition
Much love,

Dear Connie, Erin, Elizabeth, Mathew, and Lindsay,
Such a lovely tribute to your husband and father. I was grateful that I got to know him and that we were all part of an extended family. He will be missed by so many.
I´m glad he got to meet his newest grandsons. May we all carry his legacy of saving the earth´s jewels; the rocks, sky and water.
My condolences to all the Kearn and Nash family.
With Sympathy,
