Dear Kirwan Family,
Though we've only briefly met as you walked the neighborhood, it is obvious that Dave died as he lived: with spunk! I wish you peace as you mourn. Sincerely, Martha & Kurt Hillemeir (red house!)

Dear Catherine and family- We are so very sorry for your loss. David was such a very very special person. I especially remember the many years we sang together in the choir at St. Catherine's.
He was a wonderful musician, with a heart of gold, & a quiet sense of humor. He was also a very caring man. His family brought him so much happiness and he was always so proud of all of you.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Gloria, Mick, and family,
Please accept our most heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your dad. He must have been "some" free spirit. We missed the Courant obit. and in searching for your dad's information we saw David Kirwan who had passed away as a result of injuries sustained in an accident. So, we kept looking because we knew he had died at home. We wish we had known him---a very special person. We know he will be dearly missed. God bless, Ron and Toni.

Being the last of eight children, I have experienced the sad days your family is not undergoing. Though I did not know Mr. Kirwan, reading his life experiences in this morning's paper, I can only wonder what the original penned obit was like. It must a true reflection of what a wonderful man he was and how he would have liked you to remember him in a smile.

We sang with David in the St. Catherine choir before recently moving to Louisiana and remember him fondly. David was a gentle man and passionate about his family and all of his interests, especially his participation in the choir. He will be dearly missed.
