I used to eat at Fun Fair when I was a kid on Treasure Island. Probably my greatest memories are of that place. It is a childhood treasure. I can see the split grilled hotdogs and relish bar. And I even remember Georgie dishing out ice cream cones. Sounds corny but not to me. That place is a landmark in my heart. Sad to see the passing of its founder. I think of Fun Fair often and wish I could go back to it for just 1 day. Treasure Island in the 60's was unbelievable and Fun Fair made it so.

Dear Kleiman family: My mother, Shirley Grossman (who died this past April), worked as a bookkeeper both at Fun Fair and Sea Shanty. Though I was just a young boy, I remember that he was alway kind to my mom and let me ride the Fun Fair rides for free! I am sorry for your loss.
