David Konecny Obituary
A vigil service is 7 p.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church in Cascade. Funeral Liturgy is 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart. Schnider Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
David was born in Great Falls on Oct. 11, 1941. He was a school administrator in Montana for 25 years. He was an extraordinarily devoted husband and a wonderful father. In his retirement years, he enjoyed his lifelong passions of woodworking, stamp collecting, fishing and hunting.
David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy, and daughter, Lorilynn, both of Cascade; son, David, and his wife, Jaci, of Bozeman; a sister, Mary Ellen Hennig, of San José, Calif.; and brothers, Eugene Konecny, of Missoula and Donald Konecny, of Pensacola, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anna Balog Konecny and Thomas Andrew Konecny.
Memorials may be sent to a charitable account established at Stockmens Bank in Cascade, MT 59421, to be distributed per David's wishes.

To David Konecny Family
David and I were great friends in grade school and junior high. He always liked to work with wood. We would spend hours in the family garage making different projects from wood. I remeber his mother as a very kind and friendly mother. After high school it seems I lost track although at high school reunions I would get an update. I didn't realize Dave lived in Cascade as I would go up the river at every HS reunion. God willing maybe I will make it to heaven and make up for lost time. Friend Leon Puzon
