David Kracov

KRACOV David Kracov, age 76, passed away unexpectedly June 12th at his home in Monroe. A son of Brooklyn, NY he lived in Trumbull, for 45 years and Monroe for the past four. Known for his generous heart and sense of humor, he was equally renowned for his full basement and cluttered garage. David's attachment to his tools and other practical objects he collected over the years was equaled only by the joy he derived from sharing the bounty with his friends, family and guests. He was a devoted husband of 53 years to Irma, and father to Allison West of Pacifica, Calif., Stacey Ebel of Durango, Colo., and Abby Sesselberg of Fairfield. His life was brightened by his five grandchildren, Jessica and Max Ebel of Durango, Colo., Tyler West of Pacifica, Calif., and Harry and Graham Sesselberg of Fairfield. David loved spending time with his brothers, Bill, Sol, and Mel, collectively known as The Brothers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. David was predeceased by a brother, Stanley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The David Kracov Fund, National MS Society, Connecticut Chapter 659 Tower Ave., First Floor Hartford, CT 06112. Memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 11a.m. at The Abraham L. Green and Son Funeral Home 88 Beach Rd. in Fairfield.
