Dear Carol and family,
So sorry to learn of Doc's passing. What a character he was. Funny, smart, and just an all-around great guy. On the fire ground or at the Credit Union, he always took care of business.
I will miss him. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Doc & I were in the same, 1st, fire academy class & I recall during our lunch breaks, figuring out where we would qualify for buying a house in SF when it was most desirable to do so. We all were blessed with an opportunity to do what we loved, for the city we loved.
Fast forward many years, Doc started to fail physically, not at all spiritually, before many others of the same genre but remained an inspiration to all that knew him all so well. Such a class act. Doc will be missed by all those who knew him so well. Godspeed Dave.
