I had the privilege of knowing David while he was here in Florida - he was a gentle soul, kind to everyone he met, a fantastic artist and friend. We would talk about his love of history, nature, native americans and art. He will be greatly missed by so many. Rest well my friend - prayers for your family and loved ones. You will always be remembered.

I had the pleasure of meeting David through his amazing paintings at Pinellas Park Art Society. I had always hoped that I would see him there more often, sitting his easel up, painting, talking about history, laughing, posing for still life drawings in authentic Civil War uniforms. My thoughts go to his family and friends. He will always be missed, a kind man. E.J.

This just saddened me to hear about David's passing. I just found out today and it stunned me. David was an exceptional person and a great friend, very compassionate. He was a big part of our family at the Pinellas Park Art Society although we had lost touch with him the last couple years. He will be sadly missed. My condolences to his wife and family.

My heartfelt condolences go out to David's family. I last saw David in 1998 at a Blue's Fest. He was my friend from childhood. The one you never forget. We ran the woods and waterways together with our friends. Always on our bikes, always exploring. Those are the memories that make me smile. I am so happy to know that he experienced a family of his own, and the happiness that that brings. David was a beautiful soul, and he will be greatly missed.

I have wonderful memories of time spent with David, his parents and brothers; as we grew up in St. Petersburg together (we are cousins). He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. David was taken much too soon, but I'm sure there was a wonderful reunion in Heaven with his grandparents, parents and brother, Jim. RIP dear David.

David was definitely a unique person. His reunion with his mom and brother came too soon.
